Newgale

Newgale from the South
Newgale is best know for the 3 mile long beach in the middle of St Brides bay on the west coast of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. There is a large pebble bank acting as a storm wall between the beach and various camp sites and caravan parks. The beach is a popular one with surfers and wind surfers. There are some shops and pub called the The Duke of Edinburgh Inn.

Tenby from the South Beach
Tenby is the most popular tourist destination on the Pembrokeshire south coast and has two large beaches, a harbour, historic walled town and many tourist attractions and accommodation.

Ceibwr Bay – Moylegrove

Ceibwr Bay
Ceibwr Bay is not far from the Village of Moylegrove on the west coast of Pembrokeshire halfway between Fishguard and Cardigan.
It is a lovely cove but with rocks and pebbles rathe than sand. The cliff walks in either direction are stunning. Whe the tide is high and the sea is rough the waves storm across the rocks at the mouth of the bay and send plumes of water into the air.
There is limited parking at the bay itself but it is usually quiet.

Saundersfoot
Saundersfoot is a small fishing village with a harbour located north of Tenby. It is very popular in the summer months with a good beach and boats trips.

Carn Ingli is an imposing rock outcrop dominating the coastline around Newport on the west coast of Pembrokeshire a few miles from Fishguard. It is actually a 4-hectare Iron Age hillfort with the remains of at least 25 huts.
Parking is easy at Bedd Morris (follow the signs for Ffordd Bedd Morris from just outside Newport) as is the 2 km walk across Carningli Common. Just head east across the common and Carn Ingli can’t be missed. There are stunning views across to Dinas Island, Newport Beach, the Preseli Hills in the south east and even St David’s head to the west.
To return you can either cross the common back to Bedd Morris or follow one of the many paths down to the village of Newport where you can shop or have a pub lunch before returning to the common.

Dinas Island is an easy circular walk in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It is about 2km and will take around an hour and includes some steep paths. It takes the walker over Dinas Head with views across to Fishguard Harbour and Newport Bay.
The walk can start at either Pwllgwaelod, or the village of Cwm-yr-Eglwys. There is a gravel path linking the two and car parks at each. There is an excellent pub called The Old Sailers at Pwllgwaelod which serves good sea food and is busy in the summer months.
From either end take the sign posted coastal path onto Dinas Island itself. It is relatively easy going with a trig point at the top of Dinas Head.
