On Dale's little seafront with the bay's moorings filling the front windows, Griffin View is the watersports base done right: a store for boards and wetsuits, an outside tap, and the beach — launchable at most tides — across the lane. The sailing school and hire outfits set up a hundred metres away each season.
Three bedrooms (two seaward), a kitchen-diner where crab from the bay gets dressed, and the Griffin Inn's terrace one minute's walk for when cooking loses the vote. Westdale Bay's sunset side of the peninsula is a fifteen-minute stroll over the neck.
