Affiliate disclosure

The short version: when you click “Check Prices & Availability” (or similar) on this site and go on to book with a provider, that provider pays us a commission. You pay exactly the same price as if you’d gone to them directly.

Who we partner with

We work (or are in the process of being approved to work) with established booking providers including Sykes Holiday Cottages, holidaycottages.co.uk, cottages.com, Hoseasons, Snaptrip, Travelodge, Transport for Wales, Booking.com and Vrbo, via affiliate networks such as Awin and CJ. The provider you’ll book with is always named on the button before you click.

What it never changes

  • Rankings and recommendations are editorial. Commission rates play no part in which properties appear or in what order.
  • Where the same property can be booked through more than one partner, the button goes to the one that lands you on the property itself rather than a search page or a homepage. Only when two links are equally good does the partner that pays us more come first.
  • Sponsored placements — where an owner or provider pays to be included — are always labelled “Sponsored”, and payment never moves them up a list.
  • Prices, review scores and availability come from the provider; we never alter or invent them.

How tracking works

Outbound booking links pass through our own redirect (so we can count clicks) and carry the network’s tracking reference. The affiliate network sets its own cookies on the provider’s site under their privacy policies. Our click logging is first-party and doesn’t use cookies — see the privacy policy for details.

This disclosure is made in line with UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance and the ASA’s advertising codes.
