Newport (Trefdraeth), Pembrokeshire · sleeps 4 · 2 bedrooms
A timber-and-glass cabin alone at the end of a farm track in the Preseli foothills, built to frame Carn Ingli from the bed and the Milky Way from the wood-fired hot tub. Underfloor heating, a serious kitchen, and a deck where breakfast takes twice as long as it should.
Newport's cafés and Parrog shoreline are eight minutes down the hill; Pentre Ifan burial chamber and the Gwaun Valley's time-capsule pubs are both within fifteen. The track is the point: nobody passes, nothing overlooks you, and the darkness at night is total in the best way.
The hot-tub-with-a-view brief usually forces a compromise on privacy — this delivers all three (tub, view, total seclusion) with north Pembrokeshire's dark skies as the closer.
