Harbour Loft

Solva, Pembrokeshire · sleeps 4 · 2 bedrooms

Above a gallery on Lower Solva's single colour-washed street, the loft's dormer windows look down the harbour inlet to the boats. Thirty seconds' walk covers both pubs, the crab-sandwich café and the water's edge; the Gribin ridge walk starts over the footbridge.

Two comfortable bedrooms under the eaves, a galley kitchen better than it needs to be, and window seats for tide-watching. Parking is in the harbour car park a minute away (the village's arrangement for nearly everyone — Lower Solva predates cars by a few centuries).

Why we recommend it

Lower Solva addresses almost never reach the open market — this is the harbour-village dream at a couples-cottage price, and the morning light down the inlet is worth the booking alone.
