What's on this site, and how current it is
Every travel site claims to be comprehensive and up to date. Here is the actual accounting, so you can judge for yourself which bits to trust and which to double-check.

Where each thing comes from
1171 pubs, cafés, restaurants, attractions and practical places
OpenStreetMap (ODbL) · Re-imported when we run the import script
Volunteer-maintained. Accurate on the whole, occasionally out of date on a business that has changed hands or closed.
Food hygiene ratings on 177 eateries
Food Standards Agency (Open Government Licence v3.0) · Re-matched on import
Matched strictly — same normalised name plus same postcode, or within 250 metres. We show whatever the rating is, including the low ones.
Opening hours for 178 places, phone numbers for 121
OpenStreetMap · With the place import
The 'open now' filter only knows about places whose hours we hold, which is why it shows you how many that is.
51 destination guides, 45 beach guides, 30 walks, 28 editorial guides

Photography
Wikimedia Commons, commercial-reuse licences only · Checked when added
Photographer and licence are printed under every image. We don't own these photographs and don't pretend to.
15 places to stay
Affiliate partner feeds · On each feed import
Prices and availability come from the booking provider at the moment you click through, not from us.
What we know is missing or weak
- We have not visited most of the places we list. Where we have, we say so on the page.
- Opening hours and dog rules move with the season. Treat anything we show as a starting point and check with the venue.
- Tide times, bathing water quality and Castlemartin firing times aren't on the site yet — all three need a data feed we don't have access to. Until then we tell you to check the official source.
- Coverage is thinner inland than on the coast, because that's where the visitor information exists.
Money
We earn commission when someone books a stay through a link on this site. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes the order things appear in — the full disclosure is here. Two venues on the site are owned by the person who runs it; they are labelled as such and are excluded from every ranked list, which is why you'll only ever see them in their own box.
Found something wrong?
Tell us and we'll fix it — a closed pub, a moved car park, a dog rule that changed. Contact us, or if you run a Pembrokeshire business, ask to be listed.
