Things to Do in Pembrokeshire
Pembrokeshire splits in two, and the halves suit different holidays.
The south-east — Tenby, Saundersfoot, Narberth, Kilgetty — is where the big attractions are. Folly Farm, Heatherton, the Dinosaur Park and Bluestone all sit within about twenty minutes of each other, which makes that corner the easy choice with children and a wet forecast.
North and west is the quieter half: St Davids, Solva, Porthgain, Fishguard, Newport and the Preseli hills. Fewer tickets, more coast. Coasteering started here, boats run out to Ramsey and Skomer, and the hills hold more prehistoric sites than almost anywhere in Britain — the Stonehenge bluestones were quarried in them.
