Bar and restaurant on the water at Neyland Yacht Haven, looking out over the Cleddau.
We run this place ourselves, so we keep it out of our rankings and best-of lists.
The Bar is on Brunel Quay at Neyland Yacht Haven, right on the water. The pontoons and the Cleddau fill the windows, and there's a covered terrace outside for when the weather's good.
The kitchen cooks with local produce across three menus, and there's a lounge board if you just want something to pick at. Sunday lunch gets busy in summer, so book. There's a wine list, local ales, spirits, cocktails and draught beer, plus bottomless brunch at weekends.
Getting here. Brunel Quay is signposted from the Neyland roundabout off the A477, and there's parking at the marina. The Coast Path runs along the estuary here and the Brunel Trail cycle route goes past the door, so it works as a lunch stop or the end of a walk.
Hours. Closed Mondays. Tuesday to Saturday from 11am, lunch 12–2.15pm, dinner 5.30–8pm. Sunday 11am–5pm, lunch 12–2.15pm. Ring 01646 602550 to book or to check — the hours move with the season.
