Why we recommend it
A period cottage in Marloes village — shop, café and pub within half a mile — with Marloes Sands 1.5 miles on foot and Martin's Haven, where the Skomer boats leave, 2.3 miles. A lounge with a wood burner and a separate dining room with a table for six and a futon, a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a double with an antique bed frame and a twin upstairs. A generous private garden with patio and BBQ; the rear isn't fully enclosed, the listing warns, so dogs need a lead, and they stay downstairs. Parking for one. Dale is 2.5 miles for sailing, Milford Haven nine.
