Train stations and ferry terminals in Pembrokeshire

Two railway lines reach Pembrokeshire and they behave quite differently. The West Wales line runs to Haverfordwest and Milford Haven, with a branch to Fishguard Harbour that exists largely to meet the Irish ferries. The Pembroke Dock branch is the useful one for holidays: it calls at Kilgetty, Saundersfoot, Tenby, Penally, Manorbier, Lamphey and Pembroke, which means a car-free week in the south of the county is genuinely possible.

Ferries to Rosslare sail from Fishguard and from Pembroke Dock. Both are working ports rather than attractions, and Fishguard Harbour has its own station on the quayside.

Timetables change, and the rural stations are unstaffed. Check current times with the operator before you plan a day around a connection.
