Amroth Castle's setting is close to unbeatable: the park occupies the grounds of a historic castle directly beside Amroth's mile-and-a-half of Blue Flag golden sand, at the quiet eastern end of the county where the coast path begins.
Accommodation ranges from caravans to cottage-style units sleeping up to eight, and there's an outdoor heated pool and play areas for children. Amroth village — a line of pubs and cafés along the seafront — is a flat stroll away.
Saundersfoot is one headland west (you can walk it through the tunnels of the old miners' tramway), Tenby fifteen minutes by car.
