Why we recommend it
A house in the centre of Pembroke whose back windows look straight over the Mill Pond to the castle — the kitchen-diner has the view, and the listing says otters and swans use the water. Three bedrooms upstairs (a king with the pond view, a super-king zip-and-link, a bunk room) plus, restored in 2023, a self-contained annexe below with its own king bedroom, shower room and kitchenette, reached by steep stairs or its own door beside the Watermans Arms. The Coast Path passes yards away round the castle; Freshwater East is under four miles, Barafundle five. Parking is on-street on a narrow sloping cul-de-sac — the listing suggests parking at the top and walking down.
