Rhydwen Farm Cottage

A delightfully located farmhouse cottage near the Pembrokeshire village of Llandissilio. Set on a working farm with its own large grounds this is super spot to relax and unwind any time of the year. The pretty boutique shopping town of Narberth is just a short drive away and the sandy beaches of Saundersfoot with picturesque harbour and a plethora of eateries just a little further afield. The popular resort of Tenby with stunning coastline independent shops and cobbled streets is slightly further but worth a visit. There are lots of attractions to suit all tastes such as Oakwood Theme Park Blue Lagoon both a short drive away and the historic castle at Llawhaden. All set across one floor enter the cottage which was refurbished in 2018 into the kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with a feature oil fired Rayburn electric oven and hob dishwasher microwave fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is also a shower room with shower and WC off the kitchen. Head up two steps from the kitchen into the beautiful lounge thoughtfully finished in a contemporary country style with comfortable sofa and chairs framing the warming wood burner so you can spark up a roaring fire as soon as you arrive. Here there is also a TV/DVD so you can relax and watch your favourite movie. From the small hallway head into the bedroom with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request) with a coal effect electric fire and dressing table there is also a chair set by the window perfect for reading a book. Heading outside there is a large enclosed lawn with a table and chairs take a walk through the small woodland down to your own dell with babbling brook and seating where you can relax in front of the fire pit. An idyllic spot to sit down chat and disconnect from the everyday hubbub. Need to know: 1 bedroom super king size zip and link (which can be made up as a twin on request).
