Why we recommend it

The beach arithmetic is strong for somewhere this quietly placed: Freshwater East at four miles, Broad Haven South with its lily ponds a few minutes more. Our Freshwater East page carries a tide note worth a glance before a full-day visit. A log burner and garden make it a true year-rounder.
