Trefach Country Club and Holiday Park

Narberth, Pembrokeshire · sleeps 6 · 0 bedroom

Trefach sits in the foothills of the Preseli Hills near Clynderwen, in the quiet middle of the county — which makes it one of the few bases from which both the north coast (Newport, the Preselis, the coast path) and the southern beaches (Tenby, Saundersfoot) are an easy drive.

It's a proper small holiday park rather than a lodge retreat: outdoor heated pool in season, sports field, play park, games room, and an on-site bar and restaurant for nights when nobody wants to cook.

Narberth, with its independent shops and food scene, is about fifteen minutes south.

Why we recommend it

The Preseli Hills location is genuinely useful — you can do Barafundle one day and the Preseli tops the next without moving base.

Chosen by our editors for the reasons below — not by an algorithm or payment.

Best for: Families exploring the whole county from one base
