The Five Arches takes its name from the medieval gate beside it, and it's the Tenby pub for people who want a pub rather than a bar: an open fire the tavern reckons is probably the largest in town, a five-star Cask Marque accreditation for the draught and cask ales, and a family-friendly room. Breakfast is served from ten, Monday to Saturday, and main meals and light bites from noon every day — traditional pub food, in their words; the menu itself wasn't online when we looked (September 2026), so ask at the bar.
Its other identity is as Tenby's live-music pub. Local and new acts play Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings in the season, which makes it either the reason to come or the reason to sit outside, depending on your evening. On St George's Street, it's a minute from Tenby Harbour and the walls walk.
