Glen Beach, Saundersfoot
Saundersfoot's quieter southern sands, past the harbour — same bay, fraction of the crowd.
Glen Beach is the stretch of sand immediately south of Saundersfoot harbour, reached through the harbour area or from the Glen car park. It shares Saundersfoot's gentle bathing and big low-tide sands but sits just far enough from the ice-cream gravity of the main beach to stay noticeably calmer in August.
Because it is outside the zoned section of the council's Saundersfoot restriction, it is also where local dog walkers head in summer — check the signs where the zones are marked and you will see the boundary. The walk south beneath the wooded cliffs connects through the famous tunnels (former coal tramways) towards Wisemans Bridge and Amroth, one of the best easy family walks in the county, with the tide out.
