True beachfront — sand or shingle within a minute or two of the door — is rare in Pembrokeshire because so much of the coast is protected National Park, which is exactly what keeps it beautiful. The handful of genuinely beachfront addresses cluster at Tenby, Saundersfoot, Amroth, Broad Haven and Newgale.
