Ultracomida

Ultracomida began as a tiny deli in Aberystwyth in 2001 and opened its second shop here on Narberth High Street in 2005, adding the shared tables and the Spanish wine that turned a delicatessen into a place to spend an afternoon. Twenty years on it's one of the reasons Narberth has a food reputation out of proportion to its size.

The front is the deli: Ibérico and Serrano jamón cut to order, Spanish cheeses, tinned fish and seafood, olives, oils, rice and pulses, and a long shelf of Spanish wine, cava and sherry (six bottles or more earns a discount). Behind it is the tapas bar, open through the week for breakfast, lunch and takeaway, and on Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner until eight. Hours when we checked (September 2026): Monday to Thursday 10–4 with last orders at 3.30, Friday and Saturday 10–9, closed Sunday. Tapas prices aren't published online; the shop's are.

There's no online table booking — ring, or take your chances at lunchtime. It pairs naturally with the Narberth Museum round the corner and the town's independents for a slow morning.
