Caravan & holiday parks in Saundersfoot

8 holiday parks in and around Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire.

Caravan and holiday parks in and around Saundersfoot — touring pitches, statics and lodges — with websites where we have them.

Eight holiday parks are listed at Saundersfoot. Four of them you can actually book.

That is not a criticism of the other four — it is how this stretch of coast works. Several are ownership parks where people buy a static and keep it, one says outright that it does not allow its owners to sub-let, and three have no website at all. If you have spent an evening trying to find a phone number for a park that turns out not to let, this section is the one to read first.

What you can actually book

Tents, touring caravans and motorhomes — two parks.

  • Trevayne Farm takes tents, roof tents, campervans, touring caravans and motorhomes, split strictly between two fields: Tenby Field for tents, roof tents and campervans; Monkstone Field for caravans, motorhomes and campervans, with tents "strictly prohibited".
  • Broadfield Farm takes tents, campervans, touring caravans and motorhomes, with a 10-amp electric hook-up on every pitch, hardstanding for motorhomes, and seasonal pitches.

Statics, lodges or cottages to rent — two parks.

  • Swallow Tree Gardens hires caravan holiday homes in three ranges, pine lodges and one apartment.
  • Bonville's Court hires five cottages and two lodges.

Not bookable at all. Scar Farm is 145 static holiday homes, all owner-occupied, and their own words leave no room: "We do not permit our owners to sub-let their holiday homes. We do not offer any caravans for hire." Broadfield's static side is the same idea in a softer form — the statics are sold, not let, and "from time to time, owners may make caravans available to hire".

No website we could find. Moreton Farm, Old Mill and Rumbleway have no live site of their own. Be careful searching for them: rumbleway.co.uk is a car garage in Tenby, and both oldmillcaravanpark.com and oldmillcaravanpark.co.uk are different Old Mills, in Moray and East Yorkshire. Neither is this one.

How close is each one?

Straight-line distances from each park's mapped position. Real walking routes are longer, and almost everything here involves a hill.

Park Saundersfoot harbour Nearest beach
Scar Farm 0.4 mi 0.4 mi (Saundersfoot)
Swallow Tree Gardens 0.5 mi 0.2 mi (Coppet Hall)
Old Mill 0.7 mi 0.7 mi (Saundersfoot)
Broadfield Farm 1.0 mi 1.1 mi (Monkstone)
Trevayne Farm 1.0 mi 0.2 mi (Monkstone)
Bonville's Court 1.0 mi 1.1 mi (Saundersfoot)
Rumbleway 1.4 mi 1.1 mi (Monkstone)
Moreton Farm 1.4 mi 1.5 mi (Saundersfoot)

Two of these need a word of explanation, because the raw number misleads. Swallow Tree sits in woodland above the Coast Path: half a mile from the harbour, but only a quarter of a mile from the sand at Coppet Hall, which is the beach you would actually use. Trevayne Farm is a mile from the harbour and 350 yards above Monkstone Beach — it is a Monkstone park, not a Saundersfoot one, and that is the point of it.

The four you can book

Trevayne Farm

A working farm — sheep, cattle, pigs and horses, about ninety years in the same family — perched above Monkstone Beach with views over Carmarthen Bay. Pitches only, no statics.

On site: a farm shop selling milk, bread, eggs and local seasonal produce, plus gas and laundry tokens; a coffee shop; hot showers, disabled facilities, baby changing, wash-up rooms, a laundry with ironing area; a communal freezer in the courtyard, a book swap and a ping pong table in the barn; electric hook-up pitches, recycling and composting. No pool, no bar, no entertainment.

Their published rules tell you what kind of site it is: quiet between 10pm and 8am, no mixed or single-sex groups of more than three adults, 5mph on the park. Dogs are welcome on a lead. If you want a field above a beach rather than a resort, this is the one.

Broadfield Farm

Family-run since 1942, between Saundersfoot and Tenby, about a mile from the beach. Every pitch has a 10-amp hook-up; there are grass pitches, hardstanding for motorhomes, and seasonal pitches. Toilets and showers open all season. Barbecues and fire pits are allowed if raised off the ground.

The thing that separates it from every other touring park in this list: Jan'z Restaurant and BB's Bar are on the park, with takeaway. Dogs stay free, on a lead.

Open 1 March to 31 October — the only one of the eight that publishes its season.

Swallow Tree Gardens

Woodland above the coast, with the only swimming pool of the eight: a large indoor heated pool with a sauna and steam room, plus a fitness suite. Caravan holiday homes in three ranges — including a "Hot Tub Executive Plus" range with hot tubs — pine lodges, and one apartment. Each holiday home has its own veranda with dining furniture. Launderette on site. No bar, no entertainment programme, no shop.

Direct access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, inside the National Park, and a quarter of a mile down to Coppet Hall.

Dogs are allowed, but the policy is the most detailed here and worth reading before you book: one dog, in selected units only, on a lead at all times anywhere in the grounds, off the soft furnishings, never left alone in the holiday home for long, with a collar and ID tag, and a nightly charge. Dogs prohibited under the Dangerous Dogs Act cannot be accommodated.

Bonville's Court

Not a caravan park in the usual sense — five self-catering cottages and two lodges in countryside, ten minutes' walk (three-quarters of a mile, by their own reckoning) from Saundersfoot's beach and walled harbour. Family-owned and run. On site: a spa suite with steam room, sauna and spa pool, an air-conditioned gym, a shop, free WiFi and parking for two cars per unit. No swimming pool, no bar, no entertainment.

Character rather than facilities is the selling point — four-poster beds, a log burner, an open fire, vineyard and countryside views from the lodges. Five of the seven units are dog-friendly.

What we could not find out

Only Broadfield publishes an open season. The other seven do not, which matters more here than it would elsewhere because several of these parks close for the winter. Ring.

Moreton Farm, Old Mill and Rumbleway publish nothing at all that we could verify. Rather than pad this page with things we half-know, we have left them as names. If you run one of them and want that fixed, tell us.

If none of these suit

Saundersfoot is small and the parks around it fill early. There are nine more a few miles south at Tenby, where the mix is different — one full resort park with pools and entertainment, and a cluster of quiet statics within walking distance of the town. For cottages and apartments in the village itself, see where to stay in Saundersfoot, and for camping proper, the Pembrokeshire camping guide.

Every fact above comes from each park's own published information, checked in September 2026. We have not stayed at these parks. We do not quote prices or availability — those change constantly and the park's own website is the only honest source. Where a park publishes nothing, we say so rather than fill the gap.
