The wildlife here is genuinely internationally significant. Skomer holds one of the world's largest Manx shearwater colonies and, in late April and May, a bluebell-covered island full of puffins. Grassholm carries one of the biggest gannetries in the North Atlantic. Grey seals pup along the whole coast from late August, and the Teifi and Cleddau estuaries hold otters.
The viewpoints below are the ones the Coast Path is routed around: Stack Rocks and the Green Bridge of Wales, Dinas Head, St Davids Head, Cemaes Head. Between March and September some clifftop sections are closed for nesting seabirds and for military firing at Castlemartin — check before you commit to a route.
