Museums & Galleries in Pembrokeshire

Small and specific rather than grand: Pembrokeshire's museums are mostly volunteer-run and tell one story each well — the Sunderland flying boats at Pembroke Dock, the port at Milford Haven, the town at Tenby and Haverfordwest.

The galleries follow the coast. Porthgain, Solva, St Davids and Newport all support working artists, largely because the north coast light and the harbours have drawn painters here for over a century. Most are free to enter and are genuinely commercial galleries rather than exhibitions, so opening hours track the tourist season.
