Sweet shops and ice cream in Pembrokeshire
9 shops across 5 Pembrokeshire towns and villages.
Seaside towns run on fudge and ice cream, and Tenby has never seen a reason to argue. The old town has several sweet shops within a few streets of each other, most making fudge on the premises, and the smell coming out of the doorways is doing half the selling.
Saundersfoot has its share too, and there are ice cream parlours dotted along the coast that are worth a detour on a hot afternoon.
Nearly all of this is seasonal. Out of season, expect shuttered windows in the resort towns — which is its own kind of pleasure if you like a quiet November walk.
