Heatherton World of Activities

Tenby

Free-entry, pay-as-you-play activity park at St Florence — around thirty activities from adventure golf and go-karts to a zipline and a tree-tops course, and properly dog-friendly.

Heatherton, five minutes from Tenby at St Florence, works differently from most attractions: entry is free and you buy credits for what you actually do. An individual pass was £21.45 for six credits when we checked (September 2026); adventure golf costs two, a go-kart session four, archery one, and so on down a list of about thirty activities. Family passes with more credits last six months and can be shared, so a return visit is cheap. Paintball, the Tree Tops Trail high-ropes course and the escape rooms are priced separately.

Most of it stays open in the rain — the park says so itself — which makes it one of the county's better wet-day options; see Pembrokeshire in the rain. Minimum ages and heights apply per activity (the zipline and powerfan need 1.1m and age eight; senior karts 1.5m and fourteen), so check the list before promising anything to a small child.

What sets it apart for many visitors is the dog policy. Dogs are welcome across most of the park on a lead, there's a purpose-built dog agility course, and the Tree Tops Café takes dogs (reception and the Triangle Restaurant don't). Paths are largely tarmac, wheelchairs are available for a returnable deposit, and accessible parking sits by reception. Florence Springs lodges and glamping are a short walk through the woods if you want to stay on site.

Best for

Mixed-age groups who want to pick and choose; wet days; anyone travelling with a dog.

Why this one might suit you

Dogs are welcome, and it's set up for families.

Assembled from what we can evidence — hygiene ratings, measured distances and the venue's own listed details — not from a visit. We haven't eaten here, and we don't pretend to have.
